Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering the piano in her attic and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to pursue music solely for pleasure or to aid in development but instead, she was encouraged to explore it. She started writing songs of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favourite songwriters. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mother suggested that they might help others not be famous with her work but to make the people around them understand their importance and the ways they can affect the world. Piano was her first instrument when she was six, and she started writing music when she turned nine. Her family didn't be aware until 14. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. Aurora claims she loves creating songs. For her, music is the best method of feeling anything.
